The City of Wyoming has reached a major milestone in its effort to build a universally accessible playground at Crescent Park thanks to a major gift from a Cincinnati company.

Arepa Place, a Findlay Market staple known for its Colombian-inspired fare, will open its doors in Wyoming this weekend, a debut that has been months in the making.

After hosting an online poker tournament last year, the Joint Women’s Collaborative (JWC) of Wyoming is bringing back its annual Charity Euchre Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 26

Thanks to the hard work of Wyoming’s Public Works Department, the streets were cleared of ice and snow for the big event. Everyone enjoyed an evening of dancing, pizza, and cupcakes amid an Alice in Wonderland theme.

Formerly the Junior Women’s Club, the Wyoming organization is showing its commitment to diversity and inclusion with a new name: Joint Women’s Collaborative.

The November 2021 election saw the biggest field of candidates that the city. When the votes were counted, the new Council members were Daniel Driehaus, April Robles, Melissa Monich, Grant Hoffman, and Chris Woodside.
