The 3rd Annual Wyoming Community Food Drive was a success! On Saturday, April 22, a volunteer team of 25+ worked hard collecting food collection bags, sorting food, and transporting everything to Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center. The result: Wyoming residents donated nearly 6,000 meals to Valley Interfaith.
Their shelves were nearly empty to start the day and completely filled up at the end. The pantry manager said they wouldn’t have to order food from the Freestore Food Bank for at least three weeks because of our combined efforts. Thank you to everyone who donated and made this year another big success!
