The City of Wyoming is excited to celebrate the Fourth of July with a full lineup of activities, including a parade, free swimming, live music, and fireworks. As you prepare for a fun summer holiday, we wanted to share the complete schedule of events.
10 a.m. Fourth of July Parade
The theme for this year’s parade is American Heroes. Participate with a group of neighbors or help your children decorate their bikes in red, white, and blue to ride in the parade. Registration starts at 9 a.m. at the Village Green.
10:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Live Music on the Green
After the parade, stay at the Green for an awards celebration, children’s games, and live music from The Grove. Pop-A-Dog will be serving hot dogs.
12 p.m.–5 p.m. Free Swimming
The Family Aquatic Center will offer free admission for all residents during the afternoon hours.
5:30–9:30 p.m. Evening Festivities at Oak Park
The party continues at Oak Park with food, live music from 2nd Wind Band, and inflatables for the kids. Food options include El Cardenal Taqueria (tacos, quesadillas, tamales, and more), Caveman Crepes (sweet and savory crepes), hamburgers from the Fire Association, and Kona Ice.
Back by popular demand, the 2nd Wind Band will perform from 6 to 9:30 p.m., playing a mix of top 40 hits, Motown, classic rock, funk, pop, R&B, and smooth jazz.
Please note: The City will not provide shuttle service to Oak Park this year. Please park your vehicle on nearby streets and walk to Oak Park. Handicap parking will be available at the City Building.
9:45 p.m. Rozzi’s Fireworks
Stay at Oak Park to watch the Rozzi’s fireworks display, which starts at 9:45 p.m.
