The City of Wyoming announced these services have been made available to residents to help them deal with challenges during this time of mandatory stay-at-home:

The Wyoming Recreation Foundation will be collecting personal supply donations for the elderly and disabled population at the Wyoming Oak Gym (800 Oak Ave.) every Monday and Friday in April from 9-noon or 1-3 pm. Email mtuck@wyomingohio.gov for questions.

The items needed are listed below:

  • Non-perishable food items
  • Ensure drinks
  • Toilet paper
  • Toilet wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Bar soap
  • Liquid soap
  • Clorox or hand wipes
  • Denture care
  • Toothpaste
  • Lysol spray
  • Dish detergent
  • Laundry detergent
  • Tissues
  • Cat and dog food

Wyoming Carry-Out Connection is a free home delivery service from Wyoming’s neighborhood restaurants or nearby Kroger stores. The meals or groceries purchased by customers through this service will be delivered by volunteers. In addition, individuals or families suffering from income and/or job loss can request free restaurant meals, which will be funded through donations. Nathan Enger of State Farm is running a program this week between now and Friday to give FREE insurance quotes over the phone to anyone wanting to save on insurance.
