One of Wyoming’s most well-known music acts – and a sibling set to boot – will become the first-ever trio to perform on The Voice this season as The Bundys take their American folk sound to national TV.
The Bundys will appear in auditions for Season 16, which premieres Monday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
Megan, Katey and Ryan grew up in Wyoming and are all graduates of Wyoming High School and Miami of Ohio University. They have been performing together since middle school and took their act to Nashville in 2012. In 2015, they released their first full-length album, and then released a second in 2017. They have also toured with well-known country star LeAnn Rimes and performed at the 2017 Songwriter’s Hall of Fame Dinner in Nashville to honor Dewayne Blackwell.
Locally, the trio has performed multiple times at Miami University and at Cincinnati area venues. Of course, long before they hit their professional stride, they were legendary here in Wyoming as the kids with loads of musical talent, frequently invited to perform at various events around Wyoming.
Proud parents Tammy and Brad Bundy and brother, Evan, will cheer their family on from their home in Wyoming. Look for updates in the coming weeks here and on the trio’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/TheBundysmusic/.
