The Wyoming Cowboys football team capped off their undefeated season with a 42-14 victory over Girard on Saturday, December 1 to become state champions in Division IV.
Wyoming was one of only three teams in the state to claim an undefeated season. It was the first time since 1977 that the Cowboys football team has won a state title, and the team set a record for the most wins in a season at 15.
It was the ultimate finale for the program’s 100th anniversary this year.
