Light Up Wyoming will be held on Saturday, December 8th, in conjunction with the Wyoming Holiday Open House. Now in its 32nd year, Light Up Wyoming is a longstanding tradition in the community with the goal of creating an “unbroken circle of light” of luminaries throughout the City of Wyoming to show holiday spirit.
Light Up Wyoming is one of the primary fundraisers for the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming, a non-profit organization that impacts the local community through volunteering and fundraising. Every year, the club supports a variety of organizations and causes by dispensing funds from the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming Foundation.
Luminary kits are available for purchase now from the Junior Women’s Club, with all proceeds going to support the Junior Women’s Club of Wyoming Foundation. Each $20 kit ($15 for senior citizens) comes with enough supplies to make 20 luminaries. Order your kits before Wednesday, November 28, 2018 to receive FREE home delivery. Kits can be purchased through Paypal on the JWC website, www.jwc-wyoming.org/light-up-wyoming.
In-person sales will take place December 1st & 2nd in the High School Tennis Court Lot, and December 8th at the Civic Center.
Not going to be around for Light Up Wyoming? Don’t have the space to display luminaries? Purchase kits to donate for use in public spaces within the community. JWC can also assist senior citizens with setup and cleanup of kits during the event – just let us know when you order.
