The City of Wyoming received high marks again this year from Niche.com, which analyzes cities and towns around the country to help people find the neighborhood that’s right for them. Wyoming was ranked No. 37 out of the top 50 suburbs in the U.S. The ranking is based on public schools, crime, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities, says the website.

Niche.com says it uses dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews from individual sources to produce comprehensive rankings. Millions of families use its information to help guide their search for a place to live, says Niche.com in published material.

Wyoming was one of two communities in Greater Cincinnati to make the top 50. The other community was Mason.

Wyoming High School Gets High Marks in U.S. News

Earlier this year, Wyoming High School was rated the No. 2 high school in Ohio by U.S.News & World Report. The school was rated No. 99 nationally. WHS earned a gold medal, one of only 2 percent of schools nationwide to do so.

Rankings are based on measurements of how well students exceed expectations in their state, how well under-served students perform relative to the state average, graduation rates, and how well students were prepared for college. Wyoming has a graduation rate of 98 percent and a college readiness score of 85, according to U.S. News.
