The traffic cones and construction equipment have returned to Springfield Pike. With the utilities moved, the road repairs and lane reconfiguration begin in earnest on Monday, August 27. Watch for lane closures from Mt. Pleasant Rd. south to the corporation limit. Traffic will be maintained, but you should be ready for some delays, especially at rush hour.
If you haven’t already, this is an excellent time to sign up for Nixle, the city’s emergency communication system. It will keep you advised of traffic congestion, lane closures, and other important developments around town. There are two ways to register for this free service. Either text the word Wyoming to 888777 on your mobile phone, or visit the City’s website and click on the Sign Up! box in the Nixle widget at the bottom of the home page.
