Wyoming recently received high marks from Niche.com, which analyzes cities and towns around the country to help people find the neighborhood that’s right for them. Wyoming was ranked as the 18th best suburb in the U.S. and the 22nd best place to live in the U.S. based on public school ratings, crime statistics, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities.
Niche.com says it uses dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews from individual sources to produce comprehensive rankings. Millions of families use its information to help guide their search for a place to live, says Niche.com in published material.
Communities ranked on the list were graded in six areas, with an overall grade that rated the community as a whole. Wyoming received a grade of A+ overall, and the following individual rankings:
Public Schools, A+
Housing, A
Good for Families, A+
Crime and Safety, B+
Nightlife, B
Diversity, B+
Wyoming was the only community in Southwest Ohio named in the top 25 in either category. The communities of Bexley and Dublin near Columbus were also ranked in the top 25.
